I love the backpack for my Havashire. He love tagging along on bike rides and joining in on errands. Store owners are so distracted by the cuteness, we never get turned out of stores.

My Frenchie fits the medium but has room in the large. So I bought the large with this pad so the arm holes were filled. The pad is firm yet comfortable it seems. We did a 3 hour ride last weekend and he didn't fidget once.

Sizing not accurate.
As recommended, I purchased the M/L block to go in the medium backpack. It kind of fit, if I really jammed and crammed and squished it in there - like to the point that I was worried it would eventually compromise the integrity of the bottom of the pack. Nobody at the company could tell me if that is how it is supposed to fit, nor did they have any photos of the M/L block in the medium pack. So I paid postage to return it, and paid shipping for a XS/S block. It cost more in shipping back and forth than the block cost, and for that reason I would give 2 stars. But it fits perfectly into the bottom of the pack, so for that reason I would give 5 stars. I would definitely recommend the XS/S block for the medium pack, which I use for my 18 pound shih tzu mix.
