Alice & Amber

Amber is a 1.5-year-old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who accompanies Alice, a 22-year-old veterinary technician from Sept-Îles, QC, on all her adventures. Between long shifts and emergency night calls at the clinic, Amber is always by Alice’s side.

When Alice is off duty, she enjoys hiking, photography, arts and crafts, and camping, activities she has loved for years and now shares with her little best friend. She had always felt like she wasn’t doing the whole “single girl in her twenties” thing right, until social media brought her the best community of other dog moms with similar interests!

What is your favorite activity to do with your dog(s)?
Going on short hikes in areas where Amber can be off-leash, followed by cuddling and having a picnic on top.

What do you love most about your dog(s)?
Amber is a constant companion, always joining me at work or on adventures, and sharing in every moment of my life.

Where is your favorite place to go hiking?
Baie-des-tous-nus in Port-Cartier. I hope someday we can go hiking in Newfoundland together.

What other activities do you do with your dog(s)?
We do a lot of road trips together since we live in a remote area. We’ve also recently tried dock diving and are excited to explore this new sport.

What is your favorite RMD product?
