Love this parka. It arrived just in time for the cold weather this year. Our pup enjoys wearing it, and the sizing was on point 👍 it fits him perfectly.
We’re so glad it fits perfectly, your pup looks awesome. Thank you for choosing RMD!
We love our dogs harnesses for hiking, camping, paddling and walking every day. We have several collars that are durable and they dry quickly after our dogs swim in the water or roll in the snow.
Thank you so much for choosing RMD! Your dogs look amazing, and we’re glad our products are supporting all your adventures, no matter the season!
Great fit and kept Emma warm during a cool morning ride in the sidecar. Goes great with the Rex Spec goggles, harness and seatbelt we also purchased from Rocky Mountain Dog!
Emma looks amazing and so ready for adventure, what a perfect sidecar co-pilot!
We purchased this for our Jack Chi who is very difficult to fit for jackets. He has short legs and a long body. We bought the SM/MED, it’s a bit big but we have made it work. Perfect in length. It keeps him warm and dry. Easy to put on. Very well made
He looks very cute in his coat, we're happy to know you liked it, thanks for choosing RMD!
Quality materials and made to last. Love the coverage she gets, and the fit is perfect. Followed the measurement chart, and the fact she already had a L collar, and L harness, the L size coat was great. The clasps across the back are sturdy, and will last a long time. Wonderful coat Rocky Mountain Dogs, love it!
We're happy to know you liked the coat, thanks for choosing RMD!
I’ve had many dog coats over the years and this one is by far the best. The quality is unmatched and the fit is perfection. There are so many details that allow to customize your fit for your dog. Super warm 10/10 recommend
We're happy to know you liked it, thanks for choosing RMD!
I received excellent customer service from RMD. I had an inquiry regarding my recent order. Within 24 hrs RMD had reached out to me with a solution. Their response was unautomated and personal. I really appreciated this effort and would shop directly through this website again with no qualms. Keep up the great work! It’s better for everyone to deal directly with small Canadian business. RMD makes this easy. Jake the Spaniel agrees!
Thank you for choosing RMD, we're happy to know you had a good experience with us, we hope you and Jake enjoyed your product!
I got a puppy in December who was not a fan of his frequent potty breaks in the cold until I got this coat. Love that it is compatible with the RMD harness. Keeps him very warm and he is far less reluctant to go out. Purchased in a Large as well for when he is all grown up.
Awesome glad you enjoyed the winter coat Tim!
Most dog coats on the market lack good design for proper fit. This coat is well designed and will keep my dog warm and dry for all of our winter walks ahead. Thank you, Rocky Mountain Dog!
Thanks for choosing RMD, we hope your dog has fun walks with the coat!
Looking forward to many years of winter hiking with my short-haired Husky/Shepard X in this beautifully constructed coat. I especially love all the adjustments to make sure it stays secure. My 2 year-old pup is 65lbs, but tall and skinny, so the L size seems a little big, but with the adjustments available I can make it fit snug to his build. It covers a little bit past the end of his butt. Love this coat!!
looking great!!
I bought the 4XL size for my mixed breed dog (about the size and shape of a small Labrador) which was the size indicated by the measurements; and the coat fits my dog very well. I particularly like the straps that connect the belly piece to the top, and the leg straps at the back. The coat stays put and is nicely water repellent. The shape is well thought-out. It's perfect for cool, rainy weather.
I had trouble finding a coat that would fit my dog properly in the stores, but this one is perfect!
Also, delivered in under 24 hours - thank you!
I love how I can make the adjustments with the straps to fit Tico perfectly. His "old" jacket was a fixed diameter and only closed with Velcro which would inevitably pull open.
Great coat! Keeps my dog warm and dry. I really like that it covers his belly area but in no way interferes with him peeing. I also like that the chest areas has a zipper. My dog wears a front clip harness and I am still able to easily clip the leash to his harness. It also has a zipper/area on the back for a back clip harness. It’s a very good quality coat that will last for years. The leg straps as well as the straps around the body are adjustable which allows for a perfect fit. It’s also machine washable.
I absolutely love this jacket for my American Lab - she is on the smaller size 50lbs and I ordered a size medium and it fits perfect. It keeps her dry and warm! And she does not mind wearing it too which is a bonus!
Fits well and is quite adjustable. Happy to see adjustable hind leg straps.
Your pup looks lovely and cosy in the coat! Thanks for sharing!
i really like this jacket ! i love the leg straps, keeps the jacket down. I put my hands under it half way through my walk and he was definitely very warm under it!!! but not a fan of my cold hands on his stomach. (:
Now you know what to do if you forget your mittens!
This is a great jacket. Very easy to put on and take off. Lots of adjustments to help get a good fit for your dog
My pup is long and thin, so it was a bit of a challenge to get the correct size for her. She actually likes putting it on to stay warm in our Yukon winter
Return and exchange went very well
Well made jacket. The buckle attachments are so much better than velcro. Unfortunately it didn't work for my long bodied, skinny doodle. I thought I could get away with using the small medium but the length was too short.
Great design and well insulated. Fits great thanks to the many adjustment points. The chest is snug so no issues with snow getting scooped inside the jacket through deep snow, and the leg loops keep the back of the jacket snug on his back.
10/10, this is a proper Canadian parka designed by people who understand dogs.
Super coat, perfect size for my whippet shaped 32 pound doggo. Keeps him warm and he doesn't mind wearing it because it allows him complete freedom of movement. I like it because its easy to put on/take off.
Just a perfect fit, the measurements were accurate, I am very happy with this purchase!
