Design Inspiration

Discover the captivating beauty and untamed allure of the Pacific Northwest (PNW) region, comprising Oregon, Washington and the stunning province of British Columbia. Situated between the majestic peaks of the Cascade and Coast Mountain ranges, the PNW encompasses a diverse tapestry of landscapes, cultures, and experiences. What better way to celebrate this area than a road trip!

Imagine starting off at Mt. Hood with your best buddies hopping in a camper van and heading up the coast. You have the window down, the dog is on your lap with the tongue out riding along Highway 101. Next stop, Mt. Rainier for some mountain biking and a nice cold one beside the van and treats for the pup.

Oh and that is just the start of the trip! We've combined both the USA and Canada in the design with many destinations in beautiful British Columbia. No west coast road trip would be complete without visiting Whistler and Tofino.

About the Artist

Jean McAllister is a talented graphic designer, she knows what it's like to isolate in the Mountains living in Canmore, Alberta. She has been an integral part of Rocky Mountain Dog designs since 2020.

Rocky Mountain Dog will always be inspired by the Rocky Mountains in every product and design developed and sold because we are inspired by mountains and the moments created when we're outdoors with our best friend.

Love everything about this, including the gorgeous design!

Pretty good collar. The separate ring for tags is nice and the ring for the leash is pretty solid. The only negative is the width is the same for all collar sizes so a small collar is pretty wide for a small dog.

I bought one 4 years ago…. It is in very good condition still! I recently bought another one so I could have one for home and one for camping. The first one is well used and faded from the sun, but still has many years of use ( will be the camping collar now). I am very impressed with your products. I also have a harness that is 4 years old and it is in excellent condition still. Would recommend your products

I also have the Canmore collar and bought the same size (Small) assuming they would be the same. The PNW one is larger and I have a small dog so doesn’t fit as well. It is larger.

Beautiful high-quality item

I purchased the collar along with the matching leash. They are both very nice & very good quality. However, if you have a small dog you may want to be careful about the width of the collar. I have a 19 lb dachshund and purchased the small size. The fit, lengthwise is perfect, but the collar is 1" wide and the plastic clasp parts are pretty bulky for a small dog. I am definitely keeping it as it is a beautiful product & I hope with wear it will break in.
