Rocky Mountain Dog Expands All Mountain Collection with New Waterton-Inspired Leash and Collar
Calgary, AB, July 7, 2026 — Rocky Mountain Dog is excited to announce the release of two new products in its All Mountain collection: the Waterton All Mountain Dog Leash and the Waterton Alpine Dog Collar. Both designs are inspired by the striking landscapes and heritage of Waterton National Park in Alberta, Canada.
Bringing together performance-focused design and place-based storytelling, the new collection highlights one of Canada’s most distinctive national parks, where open prairie landscapes transition into the dramatic peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Established in 1895 as Canada’s fourth national park, Waterton is celebrated for its natural contrasts, diverse ecosystems, and rich historical character.
The design takes cues from some of Waterton’s most recognizable features, including the iconic Prince of Wales Hotel overlooking Waterton Lake, the wide grasslands once traveled by bison, and the historic boat tours that have crossed the park’s glacier-fed waters for generations. These elements come together to reflect the park’s unique blend of rugged wilderness and cultural history.

Waterton All-Mountain Leash - Built for Movement, Designed for Control
The Waterton All Mountain Dog Leash is designed for active dog owners who value flexibility, comfort, and control in every setting. Whether you're navigating city streets, exploring trails, or heading out for a run, it adapts easily to different activities and environments.
Key features include a hands-free wearing system that allows for waist or cross-body use, a zero-shock bungee section that helps absorb sudden pulling, and a neoprene-padded handle for added comfort during longer walks. A quick-grab traffic handle provides immediate close control when needed, while integrated attachment points, including a D-ring and barrel lock, offer space for carrying essentials like waste bags or keys.

Built with lightweight yet strong adventure-grade materials, the collar features a secure aluminum D-ring for leash attachment and a dedicated ID tag holder designed to reduce noise while your dog is on the move. At 25 mm (1 in) wide, it offers a comfortable and balanced fit for dogs of many sizes.
