If you’re looking for a park that’s surrounded by century-old trees without straying too far from city streets, head to the enclosed dog park at Parc La Fontaine. This park is conveniently located across the street from Notre Dame Hospital on the corner of Rue Sherbrooke and Ave. Papineau.

The dog park at Pointe-aux-Lievres is a medium-sized enclosed space with benches and a gravel run that’s well-suited for very active dogs. The park overlooks the St. Charles River to the West and is easy to get to by turning right on the Corridor before you cross the water.

Parc Canin de la Pente-Douce

Parc Canin de la Pente-Douce is a smaller dog park with a wide open space for running, trash receptacles for waste, and a dog-sized water fountain at the entrance. You'll find this gem tucked between Braves Park and Saint-Sacrement Hospital, right next to Benny & Co Chicken and across the street from the Capital Reformed Baptist Church.

Dog Park of Base Plein Air de Sainte-Foy

The Dog Park of Base Plein Air de Sainte-Foy is another area with separate enclosed spaces for large and small dogs. However, it’s important to be aware that there is less grass here than in other parks, and your dog may get muddy. There are also beautiful trails to walk, but your pup will need to be leashed for those.

Laval-Ouest Dog Park

The Laval-Ouest Dog Park is a no-fuss, fenced-in space for dogs to get some much-needed exercise on the go. There are a few benches that line the fences, but this is mostly an open area with lots of space for play. It's located just off Chemi St Antoine, next to the skate park and soccer fields.

Another popular dog park in Laval is Binet Dog Park. Dogs and their owners alike enjoy the huge open space where pups can run at top speed off leash without worry. There are some grassy areas that keep it from getting too muddy in the rain and snow, as well as a few picnic tables where you can stop to have a snack.

The Bernard-Landry dog park is located across the street from IGA, by the soccer fields and next to the basketball courts, just off Bd Cartier O. With ample parking space right next to the park, it's easy to get to and perfect for a quick stop if you’re pressed for time.

Parc a Chien Allen is a large enclosed dog park with grassy areas and a few benches and lawn chairs for sitting. Parking spaces are close by, so you can get your dog in and out easily, but be aware that no aggressive dogs are allowed.
