I bought this leash as the one I always use (super cheap leash off Amazon) was wearing quickly and I wanted something a little different. I got this and just used it for two days of hiking in Banff. It was the perfect length. I thought 5 ft would’ve been too long, but I didn’t find myself constantly wishing it was longer or shorter. It was enough length that my dog could get ahead of me while climbing but short enough that I could pull him to the side to let people pass without trying to grasp at miles of leash. The clasp to attach to the dog is ok. Sometimes I found it unscrewed itself but the end of the hike. But it didn’t break.

Bought the 8ft length to give my dog more range for sniffing while hiking - works great. Didn’t think I’d use it for walks in the city but it’s so lightweight (but still strong and well made) that I can easily coil it and carry it in one hand to have him walk right beside me. I’m using it with the All Terrain Harness - great combo.

Was looking for a strong leash with a proper carabiner. This definitely fits the bill. No worries at all about any piece failing when the dog decides to pull hard.

This is my second Moraine Dog Rope Leash because I love the first one. It’s just the right length for a casual meander. The clip locks for safety, the handle is comfortable to hold and the rope is sturdy. The perfect leash.

This is a high quality rope leash with a very strong locking carabiner that attaches to a collar or harness. Bought it for our dog who was prone to escaping from a collar. When paired with a good harness, I dont think any dog could escape.
The leash is great well worth the money.
The service was poor did not return phone calls. The product was not send out as promised,but to be fair I did receive the leash in reasonable time.
