Matthew & Dash

Matt is an outdoor photographer based in Revelstoke, BC. He spends his winter snowboarding, Cross-country skiing and exploring the Kootenays and Rockies with his pup Dash. In the summer he is usually camping, mountain biking or climbing in his free time. Matt has fostered and adopted dogs in the past his current pup Dash is a 4-month old Husky-Shepherd that keeps him busy!

What is your favourite activity to do with your dog(s)?

Mountain biking in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter.

What do you love most about your dog(s)?

No matter how your day has been they are always excited to see you at the end of the day.

Where is your favourite place to go hiking?

Revelstoke has so many great hiking trails just minutes from town, including great trails for the dogs. If I’m heading to the Rockies, Kananaskis is always a favourite area too.

What other activities do you do with your dog(s)?

Camping and paddle boarding are always a fun time, even better with my dog!

What is your favourite RMD product?

The All-Terrain Harness has to be my favourite, it’s just so useful when going on adventures with Dash, and he really likes wearing it.

Why would you recommend RMD products?

They’re just so functional and well-made. I’ve had their gear for several years and they still hold up after all sorts of activities and weather.

What is your next adventure?

An overnight hike in the Valhallas.
